At the Café – В кафе

On the third day, Anna decided to visit a café near her apartment. She wanted to have a coffee and a small snack. The café was cozy, with soft chairs and a few tables. The smell of fresh coffee made her smile.

Anna went to the counter. A young man greeted her. “Hello! What would you like?” he asked.

“I’d like a cup of coffee and a croissant, please,” Anna said.

“Sure. Anything else?”

“No, thank you,” Anna replied.

She paid and found a small table by the window. She looked outside while drinking her coffee. People were walking, children were playing, and cars were passing by. Anna felt relaxed.

After a few minutes, another customer came and sat at the table next to hers. He smiled at Anna. “Hi! I’m Mark,” he said.

Anna smiled back. “Hi, I’m Anna.”

They started talking. Mark asked about the city and about her life. Anna told him that she had moved recently and that she was still learning about the city. Mark shared some tips about good restaurants and interesting places to visit.

They spent about an hour talking. Anna felt happy to meet someone new. Before leaving, she thanked Mark. “It was nice talking to you,” she said.

“You too,” Mark replied. “See you around!”

Anna left the café feeling cheerful. She thought that meeting new people made her day brighter.
