Straw or eggs – loss of life, meaningless expenses.
Cotton – troubles.
Pieces of wood – very negative land, one must leave such a place.
Skull – constant scandals and legal disputes.
Cow horns – abundant wealth and property.
Gold or silver coins – wealth and luxury.
Yellow copper – wealth and convenience.
Torn carpets, clothing – quarrels and arguments.
Metal pipes – loss of life.
Plots in the shape of a triangle, diamond, or L-shape are not promising, because different energies cannot flow freely.
Therefore, they should not be purchased.
Land with cut-off corners or shaped like a body without a head is also not recommended.
Extensions in the southwest are not good places; they may lead to financial loss and danger to life.
Extensions in the northeast bring wealth, happiness, and fame.
An extension in the northwest from the west side is considered favorable for women and politicians.
An extension in the northwest from the north side is not favorable for women; it brings suffering, mental problems, and major business losses.
An extension in the southeast from the east side brings losses and problems with the government.
An extension in the southeast from the south side brings health issues, lawsuits, and decreased income.
It is not recommended to purchase a plot whose center has irregularities – depressions and elevations relative to other directions.
It is better to choose a plot where the northeast or east is lower than the southwest or west. If this principle is followed, there will be a natural flow of light, positive solar energy, and polar energy. This will bring happiness, good children, and success to all residents of the home (according to Vastu).
In the center of the plot or land, there must not be sewage systems, drain pipes, underground water sources, or heavy objects.
If a constructed house or building occupies the central part of the plot, it is very important to determine whether any of these listed things are located in the center (in the house or in the ground under the house). It is better not to make such a purchase.
Plots with blocked space (tall buildings, mountains, tall trees blocking the sun) in the north, northeast, or east are not recommended at all.
Despite this, it is beneficial to block sunlight coming from the west and south so that the house will have happiness, health, and wealth, and so that the light does not escape into directions that carry negativity (west and south).
It is not advisable to purchase land with a power station or large electric poles in the northeast.
If purchasing property near a hospital, holy place, factory, or other public locations, one must stay at least 80 meters away, so that their shadow does not fall on the acquired building and land.
It is better not to purchase property that was sold due to debt or belonged to people with severe life problems.
Also, property located near places where meat is butchered and sold, near a shoe shop, laundry, or workshop is not recommended for purchase.
A square is considered an ideal plot.
A rectangle is also considered an ideal plot.
A circle – a plot in the shape of a circle is good only on the condition that the building constructed on it is also circular.
A hexagon – a plot in the shape of a hexagon can bring financial losses and poverty.
However, if other principles of Vastu Shastra are preserved, a hexagonal plot will help the development of various processes in the family.
Shapes with non-straight angles and amorphous forms bring different kinds of problems.
A triangle – a triangular plot may lead to various problems, including problems with the government.
Bhadarshan – not a good shape for residence; only government institutions may be built on such a plot.
A shopping cart shape – a square connected with a rectangle in the center on one side.
This is not a good plot, bringing poverty, crime, and imprisonment.
Such a plot may cause a person to “run like a shopping cart” and constantly want to acquire things.
A very long rectangle (proportions greater than 2:1) – such a plot is absolutely unsuitable for raising cows.
A butterfly – such a plot may negatively influence the eyesight and judgment of the people living on it.
A trapezoid – this plot harms personal relationships and brings a married couple to court; it leads the couple to poverty and negatively affects health.
A drum shape and a rectangle with cut corners – such a plot will lead to the loss of the wife and the women in the family.
An L-shape plot – this type of plot leads to losses.
It can be divided into two parts to create two separate rectangular plots.
A triangle with cut corners – this plot leads to the death of brothers and relatives.
A turtle shape, that is, a cut triangle together with a square – brings murder, imprisonment, and death.
A rectangle with two cut corners (like a window) – such a plot leads to loss of peace of mind and poverty, as well as loss of friends and the appearance of hatred.
A half-circle and two connected triangles – such a plot leads to fear of thieves and criminals, and the person experiences attacks.
An ellipse – loss of women, money, and respect.
A polygon – from such a plot one must extract a quadrilateral for purchase.
An octahedron (eight-sided plot) – considered an auspicious plot for prosperity.
A boat shape – such a plot leads to problems and will hinder progress in life.
A U-shape – it is not recommended to purchase land, buildings, or houses of this shape.
Because the magnetic fields will be distorted, the central place becomes weakened, which leads to various problems.
It is better to grow plants on the land only after it has been purchased.
All trash, roots, thorny plants, and bushes must be removed.
Construction should begin in a good period (from the point of view of astrology); therefore, it is advisable to consult an astrologer, a Jyotish specialist.
The best days for beginning the construction of a house, as a rule, are Monday and Thursday.
It is better not to begin construction if there is a pregnant woman with a pregnancy term of more than 7 months.
Work must not be stopped once it has begun.
Work should be stopped at the end of each day after sunset, and construction should never be carried out at night.
There must usually be an engineer who supervises the construction.
Storage of construction materials must be kept in the southwest corner or the southeast corner of the construction site, at least one meter away from the wall.
Security guards of the property should be located in the southeast part of the house to provide protection from thieves.
